Colorado Endoscopy Centers, LLC (an independently owned ASC) consistently provides superior endoscopic procedural services at a significantly reduced cost compared to hospital owned endoscopy centers (HOPD).

The differences in reimbursement rates are much more significant for commercial carriers than for Medicare. Commercial carrier facility fee reimbursement rates may be up to 3 times higher for HOPD when compared to ASC rates.

Facility fees are deducted from your annual insurance deductible. Depending on your policy this can represent a significant out of pocket expense. Professional fees are equal for both ASC and HOPD site of service. Facility fees are significantly different.
