You may not drive a car or operate any dangerous machine for the remainder of the day. You may resume other normal activities for the remainder of the day but understand that you might be forgetful for the next several hours.
You may resume your regular diet unless instructed differently.
You may resume your regular medications.
It is normal to have a sore throat after the procedure. It is normal to have some gas pains. Try taking a walk to help relieve the bloating feeling.
Call the office at 303-776-6115 during normal office hours or have the on call physician paged after hours if the following occur:

You vomit red blood or anything that looks like black coffee grounds.
You have fever, chills or sweats.
You have black or tarry stools.
You have a lot of abdominal pain.
You have trouble swallowing.
Follow the special instruction that your physician has written out for you in the "Recommendation" section of the post procedure report.
