You may resume other normal activities.
You may resume your regular diet.
You must avoid aspirin, aspirin containing pills, ibuprofen or any arthritis pills for the next 7 days.
If you take blood thinners (coumadin, persantine) you should consult with the doctor who prescribed the blood thinners as to when to restart the medications. In general, you should be off these medications for 5 days BUT many conditions require different treatments. It is therefore best to consult with the original physician. You may resume your other medications.
It is normal to have some gas pains. Try taking a walk to help relieve the bloated feeling.
Call the office at 303-776-6115 during normal office hours or have the physician on call paged after hours if the following events occur:

You have abdominal pain that gets worse or continues.
You have bleeding that is more than one tablespoon of blood.
You have a fever.
The results of your polyps or biopsy will be ready in approximately one week. Call the office in one week for the results.
